Animal Feeds

The company was formed in July 2002, when the CIC group, made a strategic entry into the animal feed industry with the acquisition of Nutrena (Pvt) Ltd, a subsidiary of Cargill inc. USA. Poultry, dairy and swine feed are the main lines of animal feed manufactured. All products are made available islandwide through a dealer network of over 100 dealers located in all districts of the Island.

The state- of-the-art production plant at Ekala is fully automated. The raw materials used in the production process are subjected to stringent quality control tests in our own laboratory. The total production process is computer-programmed, and closely monitored throughout the production process. The end result is animal feed of optimum nutrition and consistent quality.

We produce premium quality day old chicks at our Hatchery. Our Breeder Farm is environmentally controlled under very strict biosecurity measures. Here too state-of-the-art technology is being adopted to ensure the highest levels of productivity to provide our customers with premium day old chicks that are healthy and free from diseases.
