1. Technical Consultancy
Guidance on crop selection based on soil (Insite pH testing, Total Soil testing, DFR) and climatic conditions. CIC Agribusiness provides comprehensive soil testing services to help farmers understand the nutrient content of their soil. These services are vital in determining the appropriate fertilizer types and application rates. Key aspects include,
Soil Nutrient Analysis: Testing for critical nutrients such as nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, and micronutrients.

Dallakin Wenasak
Lower productivity is a major problem encountered in tea cultivation in Sri Lanka. CIC Agri Businesses collaborate with Tea Small Holdings Development Authority, Sri Lanka Tea Research Institute and Tea Small Holdings Farmers’ National Society to conduct a national level programme “Dallakin Wenasak” with the Small Holdings Farmers bridge the yield gap by enhancing farmers’ knowledge and adoption of Good Agriculture Practices that involve Correct Plucking & Pruning practices, Plant Nutrient Management, Soil conservation and Shade management.
Under the programme, 4000 tea growers in main tea growing districts of Rathnapura, Galle, & Matara are supported with comprehensive production packages, advisory and training services. These selected tea growers work under 200 clusters each having 15 – 20 growers covering all Tea Inspector ranges across the low country tea growing regions. Sharing success stories among farmers, contests, and rewards for best model farmers and are some features of the project.
