Nurturing Life : Handing Over Tacgraf® to Ministry of Health
CIC Healthcare, along with CCL Phamaceuticals, donated Tacgraf® (Tacrolimus) worth LKR 12mn to the ministry of Health. Approximately 10% of Sri Lanka’s population undergoes kidney failure and the medicine donated – “Tacgraf® ”, is an immunosuppressant critical to prevent organ failure of 15 – 20% of the kidney transplant patients in Sri Lanka.
The event was attended by Hon. Health Minister Keheliya Rambukwella , Major General (Retd) Umar Farooq Burki ( High Commissioner – Pakistan High Commission Sri Lanka ), Mr. Aroshan Seresinhe (Group CEO of CIC Holdings PLC), Mr. Viraj Manatunga (Group Chief Strategy Officer/Divisional Director – Healthcare Agencies and Manufacturing), Mr. Umair Maroof (Business Head – CCL), Mr. Shakeel Javed (Head of Business Development – CCL), Officials of Ministry of Health ,Officials of Pakistan High Commission Sri Lanka, CIC Management Team and CCL Management Team.
